We are a security-first brand, so we collect as little as possible and never sell your data.

What we collect

Email address and name when you sign up, subscribe or become a member.
Payment details when you buy a membership or course. These are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
My Stack: the list of exchanges, wallets, apps and coins you choose, and your alert settings. We never ask how much you hold.
Security Score: your yes / no / not sure answers and the score (the last 24 saves), never passwords, phrases, balances or addresses.
Block Calendar settings you choose (which kinds of dates and how early to remind you).
Messages you send through the contact form, with a reference number. The form blocks recovery phrases and private keys.
Links, addresses and usernames you check in the Red Flag Checker. We check them and do not keep them; we count checks per account per day (as a one-way code, not your email) to keep the service fair. A link's domain may be looked up in the public domain registry (RDAP).
Public wallet addresses you paste into the Wallet Health Check. To check them we send the address to public blockchain data services (GoPlus Security, Blockscout, mempool.space and a Solana data provider). We do not store the address.
Tools that stay in your browser: the Report builder and Inheritance Plan are made on your device and never sent to us. If you turn on the yearly Inheritance Plan reminder, we store only the reminder date.
Basic site analytics (pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type) through our website platform, Ghost.

What we never ask for

We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or one-time codes. Anyone who does is not us.

How we use it

To send the emails and alerts you signed up for, run your membership, answer your questions, improve our lessons, and meet legal and tax obligations.

Only the service providers that run the business, under their own privacy terms: Ghost (website, membership, email), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (our member tools and email delivery), Telegram (alerts), Transistor (podcast hosting), Google Workspace (our email inbox), and the blockchain data services named above for checks you run. Our AI provider (Anthropic) reads public news to write alerts and keep our guides current; we don't send it your personal data. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with exchanges, token projects or advertisers.

How long we keep it

While your account is active, and up to 24 months after it ends unless the law requires longer. Your My Stack list, Security Score answers and calendar settings are deleted when your membership access ends. Checked links and wallet addresses are never kept.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from any email with one click, change alert channels in your account, or ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data by emailing hello@cryptowithblock.com. Residents of some states and countries have additional rights; we honor them.

Security

Our accounts use passkeys or hardware keys, data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what each service needs.

Children

This site is not for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and email members about material changes.
